"Currently, a mere 2 percent of releases account for 80 percent of music industry sales. That's right. You read that correctly. 2 percent (2%) of all the CD's sold in the world, account for 80 percent (80%) of the industry's revenue. That is truly disgusting. For those of you having trouble with the math I give this hypothetical situation...
Sales of 2 CD's = 80 dollars
Sales of the other 98 CD's = 20 dollars
Does the Web really spread sales?
